Beyond our core business, DELIS is deeply committed to community engagement. We are proud members of Green Care for Troops, providing complimentary landscape maintenance to deployed military personnel. In 2020, this initiative expanded to support healthcare workers overwhelmed by the pandemic.
We also partner with the Hopewell Valley Arts Council (HVAC). In 2020, we installed approximately 53 art spires—crafted from milled ash trees and transformed by local artists—throughout Pennington, later removing them after auction. Each fall, we support HVAC’s Amazing Pumpkin Carve, transporting pumpkins from Lancaster, PA. For the past two years, we’ve contributed to Pennington’s Holiday Walk by delivering ice blocks used in the town’s ice sculpture displays.
Most recently, we became business members of The Grounds for Sculpture, where our crew provided landscape maintenance at Rat’s Restaurant. We’re excited to continue growing this partnership and exploring new ways to give back.
